Happy January!
Our teams had a fantastic experience competing at the FLL Regional Tournament in Burbank, where they demonstrated resilience and gracious professionalism while learning from every round. We also celebrated the season with our 5th Annual Holiday Extravaganza, hosting families for a festive afternoon of hands-on STEM activities in partnership with Pacific Clinics. From LED holiday cards to programmable robot sleighs, the event was filled with joy, learning, and holiday cheer, made even more special by Albert the Axolotl robot.
As the year comes to a close, it’s hard to believe how fast it flew by and how many incredible memories we created together. We’re so proud of our students and grateful for our community’s continued support, and we can’t wait to make even more memories in 2026!

Happy December!
It’s been a busy and exciting month for our teams! We attended our first FLL Challenge Qualifier, where TurtleTek earned the Champion’s Award and BLHLS Robotics received the Innovation Award. To prepare for Regionals, we also hosted an FLL Mock Tournament, giving teams practice with judging and robot runs.
Our outreach efforts continued with an LED Holiday Card Workshop at Merrill Gardens, where seniors created light-up cards using LEDs, coin cell batteries, and copper tape. We also met with Mr. Ryan Patel, who shared helpful ideas for improving sustainability and outreach in the future.
Thanks for following along, and we can’t wait for what’s next!

Happy September!
This summer has been full of energy and excitement! We launched our Sumo Bots Camp, where students jumped into LEGO robotics through building, coding, and some friendly competition. At the same time, our Hsi Lai STEM Classes gave kids a chance to explore hands-on science in fun and creative ways.
We also hosted our FLL and FTC Camps, offering the chance to dive into robotics, strengthen skills, and team work. And to round it out, we shared robotics with the Girl Scouts of Orange County, sparking curiosity as they explored FLL.
We’re looking forward to what’s ahead. See you soon!
