FTC Team 26504
We are Axle-otls Robotics, a self-funded, community-based FIRST Tech Challenge team united by a love for STEM, our community, and the FIRST program. When our school could no longer sustain its robotics program, we refused to let that be the end of our journey. Instead, we rebuilt as an independent team, driven by resilience and the support of those around us. Our name reflects the spirit of the axolotl—a creature with a three-chambered heart and the remarkable ability to regenerate. For us, its heart represents our three pillars—FIRST, community, and STEM education—while its regenerative power symbolizes our adaptability, growth, and determination to thrive despite challenges. Guided by these ideals, we not only compete at the highest levels of FTC but also mentor students, launch middle school robotics teams, and host events like STEM fairs and webinars that open doors to STEM opportunities. This past season, our commitment was recognized when we placed 3rd Inspire in Southern California, a testament to both our technical excellence and our impact beyond the field. At our core, we believe no challenge is too great when met with teamwork, innovation, and a drive to inspire the next generation.
